White Rabbit began as a proof of concept — not just for a film, but for a new way of creating. We had no resources, just conviction and the skills to make about a minute of animation. We put it online with a twist: a 'choose your own adventure' mechanic that let the audience shape the story. Suddenly, viewers became fans, fans became collaborators, and the world of White Rabbit took on a life of its own.
Three years later, we have a fully crowdfunded, grassroots film that never would've existed if we'd gone the traditional route. That experience gave us the inspiration and courage to build Shibuya: a platform designed to make this kind of journey possible for other filmmakers and creators.
White Rabbit is our origin story. It's where the idea of collective authorship became real. This page is a tribute to that beginning, and a window into the future we're building together.
